Global New Business Manager - Nordics

Purpose of position

We are looking for a motivated individual who will excel in developing new business opportunities with small to medium sized brands in the Nordic Region.

Key Tasks

Key responsibilities within this superb role include:
  • Managing the full sales cycle for new business opportunities, from lead generation to closing the deal
  • Approaching new international clients, as well as local clients with potential in the Nordic markets
  • Negotiating and closing deals with advertisers
  • Advising and working collaboratively with local markets on global deals
  • Supporting Account Management teams with the renegotiation of existing clients
  • Meeting allocated sales revenue and profitability targets in terms of quality and quantity
  • Manage the transition of new merchant accounts through finance, technical and account teams for launch onto the network
  • Ensure consistency in introductions/proposals to prospects, including market sector targeting, product offer development, features-benefits-solutions selling
 
Whilst the above is a guide to general expectation of the role, we expect this position to evolve allowing you greater scope to gain both knowledge and experience within the online and affiliate market place.

Skills & Expertise

To be successful you will need to meet the below requirements:
  • Excellent negotiating and closing skills
  • Performance marketing experience and technical knowledge of the e-commerce sector strongly advantageous
  • Exemplary verbal and written skills
  • Minimum 2:1 bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Ideally with at least 1 year’s sales experience
  • Swedish Speaking
  • Additional language, such as Danish, Norwegian beneficial
 
You will be expected to have good understanding of affiliate marketing and what we do in the industry for any role within Awin.
