Graphic Designer

Purpose of position

The Graphic Designer collaborates with the cross functional team to develop seasonal graphic design concepts that support our business goals and the evolution of the brand. He/she creates innovative designs that are relevant to our dual customer base and support all key aspects of our marketing and communications team. This position reports directly to the Marketing Manager.

Key Tasks

  • Creation of blog headers and blog assets/ diagrams
  • Generation of Infographics and custom illustrations when needed
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of all creative assets related to events, conferences and tradeshows
  • Seasonal Lookbook, handouts and print material creation and layout
  • Internal templates, corporate PowerPoints and presentation assistance
  • Assist in design of overall company collateral, as needed
  • Design assets to support blog and social media content
  • Maintain knowledge of creative marketing trends and best practices
  • Contribute overall to the Awin Group marketing team efforts

Skills & Expertise

To be successful you will need to meet the below requirements.
  • Highly detailed, collaborative approach to teamwork
  • Able to take direction from Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing
  • Sensitivity to corporate brand guidelines and standards (including but not limited to usage of logos, color palettes, typography, design layouts, and photography)
  • Apply visual brand standards to provide high end deliverables that engage and inform
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator and be able to work on both Mac and PC
  • Strong layout and visual skills
  • Experience with infographics
  • 3-5 years of professional design experience in print and digital
  • BA in graphic design or higher
  • Photography and styling skills a plus
