This dual location role offers an excellent insight into the operations of the UK’s leading affiliate marketing company as well as one of its most established retailers, giving you the opportunity to assist in the development of the Dixons Carphone account working with brands such as Currys and PC World.
The successful candidate will work in the Dixons Carphone office in North Acton for 3 days a week and 2 days a week in the Awin office in Tower Hill. The role is pivotal to the efficient and effective functioning of the team’s work processes and provides a unique developmental opportunity of working both network and client-side. This is perfectly suited to applicants seeking to build on previously established foundations for a career in digital marketing.
Key responsibilities within this superb role include:
Provide support to team members & client with day-to-day duties
Daily Account checks to monitor performance and KPI’s
Daily competitor reports to ensure we are aware of all competitor activity within the affiliate space.
Day to day management of supplier funding campaigns, inclusive of:
Creating bespoke campaign decks for suppliers with affiliate opportunities
Cost forecasting for campaigns
Post promotional analysis for each campaign
Attending meetings with internal stakeholders to discuss supplier funding processes and execution
Manage communication to affiliate base via weekly email
Monitor and review promotional activity, reporting findings/recommendation when required
Respond to incoming calls and emails and relay messages from clients and affiliates
Provide support for ad hoc administrative and reporting tasks and be able to prioritise these effectively
Assist clients with support for ad hoc tasks and queries in an efficient manner
Attend industry events when required and network with clients both via email and face to face
Identify new opportunities in the affiliate industry in line with strategy and budget. Set up, maintain and optimise feeds and commission structures
The Online Marketing Team at Dixons Carphone provide a central point of co-ordination and expertise to support online marketing initiatives for the UK and Ireland websites. Working closely with Brand, Commercial, Online Marketing Managers and other aspects of the Online Marketing Team such as PPC and SEO. The successful candidate will help plan and execute marketing strategies in order to drive profitable customer traffic. This involves the following:
Working closely with the Dixons Carphone E-Commerce Trading Team to source product nominations and offers for various affiliate marketing activity
Support the Affiliate Manager at Dixons Carphone in relationship management to ensure good relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ensure accuracy and completeness during peak trading periods and public holidays
Work with the Online Marketing Managers, provide briefs for landing pages, banners and other promotional materials for use in-channel

Previous experience in marketing/campaign assistant role is desirable
Degree level of academic achievement (ideally a Business or Marketing Degree)
Demonstrate a sound understanding of affiliate marketing
You will be expected to have previous experience of working in an affiliate marketing role and have a strong knowledge of how affiliate marketing works. Full training will be provided in regards to the specifics of the role.
