Part of the Global Business Intelligence Team, the Data Analyst will play a vital role in growing the Awin Group in the US.
With a background in data analysis and/or account management this role will help shape the future of reporting in delivering data insights that guide commercial decisions, support strategic client recommendations and power the Awin Report by accessing our global network data and effectively supporting data needs across various teams, including Account Management, Publisher Services, New Business, Marking and Global Strategy.
Key tasks and responsibilities in this role include
Fully utilize Awin´s business intelligence tools to produce market leading insight at a network, sector and individual client level as requested. Lead or support the creative interpretation of a wide range of datasets across the production of whitepapers, case studies and Market Research pieces.
Produce and maintain reoccurring performance reports and recommend enhancements over time. Streamline activities by ensuring scalability with templates that are applicable across the wider team.
Build custom advanced data reports and assist the team with the development of client KPIs, monitoring and forecasting tools.
Facilitate ad-hoc data requests across the Awin Group through accessing the data warehouse and undertake short-term research projects that benefit all areas of the US and wider group operation.
Collaborate closely with the New Business, Marketing, Account Management and Global Strategy teams on Awin Group reports, including dashboards and customer insight pieces to help support the various needs across the business. Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, where appropriate, working collaboratively to devise innovative data solutions that produce new network and industry intelligence.
Support, through data, new company initiatives involving the evolution of existing commercial models and new technology releases
Provide US team support and training across all BI tools
Skills & Expertise
In this role, you will need to demonstrate:
Excellent communication and presentation skills with data visualisation experience preferable
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
Project prioritization based on commercial opportunity and overall contribution to business
Basic understanding of affiliate marketing / performance industry
Education & Experience
A minimum of two years’ experience in a Business Intelligence and Business Analysis role, or demonstrated analytical strength in a client service facing position with Awin
Experience in data analysis, data modelling and working with large databases
Proficiency in business intelligence tools including Tableau and PowerBI
Advanced MS SQL and MS Excel skills
Technical skills in order to interrogate the Awin data warehouse (T-SQL)
Good standard of academic achievement (University Degree)
Salesforce CRM experience a plus
This position is a full time post, working in our Baltimore office. The hours of work are 9.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Portraying a professional image at all times, we expect our employees to have a flexible approach to work.
As part of a global team there will be an expectation to travel as and when required.
