Marketing Executive (f/m)

Purpose of position

The Marketing Executive is an integral member of the Group Marketing team. The core responsibilities focus on providing high quality support to team members on their respective tasks. This role offers the opportunity to touch on the many different marketing disciplines and it is therefore a great opportunity to acquire marketing knowledge as well as key role to the success of the group marketing team.  

Key Tasks

  • Provide support for ad hoc administrative and reporting tasks and be able to prioritise these effectively
    • Utilise Google Analytics and Excel to report on top performing communication pieces on a monthly basis
    • Report on local markets blog and social media activity on a weekly basis
    • Document ongoing PR coverage globally
    • Ensure correct and timely costs allocation by keeping updated budget tracker
    • Support with submission of Credit Card statements
    • Create, maintain and constantly improve the Knowledge Base Marketing pages
    • Publish and promote content
    • Schedule posts across all social media channels
    • Monitor and report back to team on industry and competitor news
    • Support with SEO and SEA updates across all territories
    • Monitor and report back to team on SEO changes
    • Email outreach to support SEO
    • Website updates across all territories
    • Monitor external use of company branding, flagging anything incorrect with the site owner or Legal team
  • Assist with organisation of company events and merchandise collaborating with the
  • Event and Marketing Executive from preparation to execution
  • Prepare and design presentations for other global functions or events
  • Execute post event activity including photo selection, video, fund raising efforts and attendee feedback
  • Provide first level support to local markets with general enquiries
  • Ad hoc marketing team and country support

Skills & Expertise

  • Fluent in German
  • First experience in an online marketing environment
  • Good standard of academic achievement (A-Level or Degree).
  • Good understanding of affiliate marketing
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word knowledge
  • Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator experience is a plus
  • Basic HTML knowledge
  • Be highly self-motivated with ability to quickly acquire new skills
  • Proactive approach to all different tasks, finishing them in a high quality and timely manner
  • Shows excellent service attitude towards the team members and other internal department requests
  • Stick to the Marketing SLAs when it comes to the collaboration with the different departments and countries
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Be highly organised and able to juggle several tasks simultaneously
  • Have impeccable attention to detail
  • Exude a friendly and professional manner with confidence working with people at all levels and when communicating directly with clients
  • Excellent computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Be flexible and unflappable when responding within tight timeframes
  • Have a passion for results and are happy to roll sleeves up and get involved in helping out wherever it might be needed
  • Strives to continually improve productivity and quality of work produced
  • Ability to meet attendance standards and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers and employees, along with working with external suppliers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to work harmoniously and effectively as part of a work team
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision once trained
  • Have a clear passion for online media, and good grasp of affiliate marketing concepts
  • Be approachable with a strong ‘can do’ attitude and an appetite to learn
  • Have an eye for branding, visual communication and designs
