Account Manager

Purpose of position

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking, confident, and dedicated person to join the fast paced and hugely rewarding Key Accounts team. This is a great chance for anyone looking to move into a position of responsibility to gain valuable experience working with some of our most well-known brands on the network.

This role involves managing a number of clients, which in Key Accounts will be some of the most demanding yet interesting affiliate campaigns on the network. Regular presentations, meetings and calls with the clients and lots of engagement with your affiliates means that this position would suit someone with an understanding of the online marketing industry who thrives in a face to face environment. By consulting and upselling his/her clients independently, the Account Manager constantly develops the accounts he/she is responsible for and generates profit growth or secures profit on the respective accounts.

Key Tasks

  • Proactive client consulting/regular attendance of client meetings
  • Identify growth potential on existing clients, push opportunities for up- or cross-selling
  • Advise and consult on promotions and incentives
  • Building up a solid network within the client´s organisation
  • Creating and managing client related budgets
  • Manage and implement client promotional calendars where appropriate
  • Hold bi weekly, monthly and quarterly calls with clients where required.
  • Supporting internal project initiatives
  • Working together with the publisher team's Account Managers to find opportunities for growth
  • General housekeeping on advertiser programs (banner uploads, reporting, publisher approvals etc.)
  • Attendance of industry specific events
Whilst the above is a guide to general expectation of the role, we expect this position to evolve allowing you greater scope to gain both knowledge and experience within the online and affiliate market place.

Skills & Expertise

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant online marketing role
  • Experience from an Account Manager is a plus
  • Understanding of the affiliate marketing industry
  • Very good communication and interaction skills with a consultative and sales oriented approach
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Open-mindedness and willingness to change and learn
  • Self-reliance being able to face existing challenges on his/her own and addressing need for help accordingly
  • Addressing need for help if needed
  • Excellent computer literacy including advanced proficiency in Outlook, PPT and Excel
  • Fluency in English and at least one Nordic language is required (Swedish preferably)
